The 2024 Young Artist Competition winner is Daniel Yeum, an Oboe player who attends Thomas Jefferson HSST. He will perform the GF Handel Concerto in g minor as a featured soloist with the City of Fairfax Band at their May 4 concert.
The Young Artist finalists played-off in recital at Old Town Hall on March 24.
This is the 28th year that the City of Fairfax Band Association has sponsored the annual Young Artist Competition. The winner of the annual competition will be featured as guest soloist at the City of Fairfax Band’s May 4 concert and will receive a financial award of $2,000 to support future musical endeavors.
