The City of Fairfax Band Association (CFBA) has scheduled 23 concerts by its various ensembles through August. Many are outdoors at Veterans Amphitheatre (next to Fairfax City Hall) and the Old Town Plaza in Fairfax City. Others are at various parks throughout Fairfax County. All concerts are free of charge. One new indoor venue has been added this year: the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum in Chantilly for a concert on July 23.
Ensembles playing summer concerts include the City of Fairfax Band, the Main Street Community Band, the Main Street Brass Quintet, the Alte Kameraden German Band, the Fairfax Saxophone Quartet, and other smaller ensembles.
