MAIN STREET COMMUNITY BAND

The Main Street Community Band, under the direction of Henry Heidtmann, has been joyfully entertaining the Fairfax area community for over 16 years. The band’s repertoire includes movie and show tunes, lively marches, seasonal music, and classic Americana. Their concert schedule covers the four seasons at indoor and outdoor venues, and they typically perform free of charge thanks to the generosity of their sponsors. The band has also yielded several small ensembles – a brass quintet, a trombone quartet, and a clarinet quartet – that perform throughout the year.
