At the heart of the program is Percy Grainger’s Lincolnshire Posy—a landmark work that reshaped the wind band world—paired with a brand-new commission by composer Nicole Piunno. We’ll also feature the winner of our annual Young Artist Competition (pending selection)\, along with timeless favorites by Lerner & Loewe and George Gershwin. It’s a rich\, lyrical evening that celebrates the past\, present\, and future of great music.
