"An engaging collection that includes lively readings of the pan-cultural "Worldwide Yuletide" and a slow, moody "Greensleeves", sterling recitations by tenor Josué Bustos (notably on "Gesu Bambino"), a warm telling of the "Silent Night" saga by guitarist/narrator John Lyon and several partnerships with the 100-voice Mormon Choir of Washington."

1996 NBA Convention Performance: On June 14, 1996, The City of Fairfax Band performed before an enthusiastic and appreciative audience at the National Band Association Convention in New Orleans, LA. Highlights of the City Band's program included a performance of the original, unpublished version of John Barnes Chance's Incantation and Dance, and Colonel John R. Bourgeois (Ret.), Former Director of the United States Marine Band and Music Advisor to the White House, guest conducted Robert Jager's Esprit de Corps. This is a live recording of the City Band's performance.

Das Ist Blasmusik is the first recording, made in 1989, by The Alte Kameraden (The Old Comrades) German Band, an ensemble of The City of Fairfax Band. It presents 13 delightful tunes in the Central European folk style.

"Alte Kameraden" presents 16 classic German, Swiss and Austrian marches performed by The Alte Kameraden German Band, the first American band to be elected to membership in the Musikbund von Ober-und-Niederbayern, Bavaria's regional association of village bands. This is the second recording made by The Alte Kameraden, an ensemble of The City of Fairfax Band.

Eine Kleine Weihnachtsmuisk (A German American Christmas) presents 19 traditional German Christmas carols and other seasonal selections by The Alte Kameraden German Band (an ensemble of the City of Fairfax Band) in collaboration with The Washington Sängerbund Chorus, The Shenandoah Alpine Horn Choir, and The Schulmerich Carillon.
