The final round of the 2008 Young Artists Competition was held on Sunday, March 2 at Old Town Hall, Fairfax, VA. In a very close competition, Sarah Dickson of McLean High School, was awarded the scholarship. Sarah performed the Concertino for Clarinet by Carl Maria von Weber with the City of Fairfax Band on Sunday, May 4, 2008.
