Sit back and enjoy the sounds of a bygone era as the City of Fairfax Band presents music in honor of those who fought for our nation in World War II. Joining us in our production of the swing classics of the era will be crooner and trombonist Eric Felten, and the female vocal trio, The Swing Set.

Shall We Dance? America’s original art form, the Broadway musical, has given us a treasure trove of dance music and dance segments. The program features dances from two Bernstein classics, West Side Story and On the Town, along with symphonic dance sequences from Fiddler on the Roof and other Broadway box office hits. Also appearing on the program is the winner of the City of Fairfax Band’s annual Young Artist Competition.
