The City of Fairfax Band
Conductor: Robert Pouliot
Host: Rich Kleinfeldt

Fairfax High School
3501 Rebel Run
Fairfax, Virginia

Scary fun dominates the Halloween theme of our concert season opener. You’ll be both frightened and delighted by the grotesque underworld sound image created by Modest Mussorgsky’s A Night on Bald Mountain and the twisted Dream of a Witches’ Sabbath from Hector Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique. More creepiness comes via Randol Alan Bass’s Phantasmagoria. But spirits will be lifted when music from Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame reminds all that good always wins out. Your kids/grandkids will enjoy this!
